HTC Desire 210 Dual and Desire 816 launched in India starting at Rs.8,700

HTC has launched two new smartphones in India which include the Desire 210 Dual and the Desire 816.The Desire 210 Dual is priced at ₹ 8,700 and will be available at the end of April while the Desire 816 is priced at ₹ 23,990 and will be available within two weeks.
The HTC Desire 210 Dual as the name suggests is a dual-SIM smartphone and supports micro SIM and normal SIM.It sports a 4-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.It is powered by 1 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572M processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM.It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with 720p video recording and VGA front camera.The device runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly-Bean with HTC BlinkFeed and comes with 4 GB of internal storage expandable upto 32 GB via micro SD card.It packs in a 1,300 mAh of battery.
While the HTC Desire 816 features a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.It is powered by 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 alongwith 1.5 GB of RAM.It boasts of a 13-megapixel rear camera with Autofocus and LED flash while there is a 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies.The device comes with 8 GB of internal storage expandable upto 128 GB via micro SD card and runs on the latest Android 4.4 Kit-Kat with Sense 6 UI on top.It packs in 2,600 mAh of battery which provides upto 21 hours of talk-time and 737 hours of standby time on 3G.The smartphone supports nano SIM and 4G LTE.
The Desire 210 Dual is set to compete with likes of the Nokia X and Lumia 520 while the Desire 816 will compete with the Moto X,Sony Xperia T2 Ultra,Lenovo Vibe X,Samsung Galaxy S3 and Nokia Lumia 1320.
