Lenovo S860 with 4,000 mAh battery launched in India at Rs.21,500

Lenovo has launched it's S860 smartphone in India at price of ₹ 21,500.The device will be available for pre-order at the company's online store starting from today at price of ₹ 1,999.The smartphone will be available in retail and exclusive Lenovo stores from May 3.The S860 was announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) alongwith other S-series smartphones.
The Lenovo S860 sports a 5.3-inch HD IPS display with a 180 degree viewing angle and a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor alongside 2 GB of RAM.It comes with a 8-megapixel with Autofocus and LED-flash while there is a 1.6-megapixel on the front.The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly-Bean which is upgradable to Android 4.4 Kit-Kat and comes with 16 GB of internal storage which unfortunately cannot expanded.The smartphone supports dual-SIM with dual-standby and boasts of a brushed unibody metal exterior.
The highlight of the S860 is it's monster 4,000 mAh non-removable battery which provides upto 43 hours of talk-time on 2G upto 24 hours on 3G.It also provides standby-time upto 28.5 days on 2G and upto 40 days on 3G.The smartphone can also recharge other devices by using USB OTG (on-the-go) cable which is included in the box.
