Oppo R1S with a 13-megapixel camera and Snapdragon 400 processor launched in China

Oppo has launched it's R1S smartphone in China at price of ¥ 2498 (approximately ₹ 23,600).The smartphone is listed on company website which notes that the pre-order of the device will begin from April 25.The R1S is the successor to the R1 which was launched in China back in December.
The Oppo R1S flaunts 5-inch HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.It is powered by a 1.6 quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor unlike it's predecessor which was came with an MediaTek chipset.The smartphone also comes with 1 GB of RAM and Adreno 305 GPU for gaming.It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with Autofocus and LED flash while on the front there is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies.The device comes runs on Android 4.3 Jelly-Bean out-of-the-box with Oppo's Color OS 1.2 on the top and comes with 16 GB of internal storage with no word on it's expansion.It packs in 2,140 mAh of battery and will be available in White and Blue colors.On the connectivity side the device comes with 4G LTE that provides speed upto 100 Mbps.
