Oppo R1 with 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 5-megapixel front camera launched in India at Rs.26,990

Oppo has launched it's R1 smartphone in the Indian market at price of ₹ 26,990.The device was launched in China back in December.
The Oppo R1 is a dual-SIM smartphone (GSM+GSM) that flaunts a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor paired with 1 GB of RAM..The phablet runs on Android 4.2 Jelly-Bean with the company's Color OS on top and comes with 16 GB of internal storage.It packs in a 2,410 mAh of battery.
The highlight of the R1 is it's 8-megapixel BSI CMOS rear camera with Autofocus and LED flash.It comes with 5P lens and has a f/2.0 aperture which is capable of delivering excellent images in low light conditions.The smartphone also comes with Sony's imx179 processor and is powered by Oppo's Pure Image technology alongside Fujitsu ISP independent image-processing chip.The device also has a5-megapixel front facing camera with 80 degree wide angle lens for 'HD selfies'.
The phablet boasts of 7.1 mm thin unibody design with magnesium alloy frame and Quick Reach gesture panel for opening apps.Recently,the company had launched the R1's successor,R1S in China at price of ¥ 2498 (approximately ₹ 23,600).
