Acer has unveiled two new tablets,the Iconia One 7 and Iconia Tab 7 at “A Touch More Connected” launch event in New York.
The first is the Iconia Tab 7 which will be available in two models depending on the region: (A1-713HD) and (A1-713).The Acer Iconia Tab 7 A1-713 HD flaunts a 7-inch HD IPS anti-fingerprint display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.It is powered by MediaTek quad-core processor with 1 GB of RAM.It comes with 5-megapixel rear camera and comes with 16 GB of internal storage expandable upto 32 GB via micro SD card.The tablet runs on Android 4.4 Kit-Kat out-of-the-box and has battery life upto 6 hours.
While the Acer Iconia Tab 7 A1-713 on the other hand comes with a relatively lower 7-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.Other specs of the device remain the same except that it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly-Bean upgradable to Android 4.4 Kit-Kat and comes with 2-megapixel rear camera.
The Iconia Tab 7 will be available in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) by mid-May at a starting price of €149 (approximately ₹ 12,000) and will be released in Latin American markets by end of June at starting price of MXP 1,990 (approximately ₹ 9,150).
The Acer Iconia One 7 boasts of dual-speakers and sophisticated textured rear pattern.The device will available in Red, White, Black, Blue and Pink colors.The tablet will be be available in Pan American markets by June-end at price of $ 129.99 (approximately ₹ 7,700) and in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) by mid-may at a starting of €139 (approximately ₹ 11,230).
