Samsung reveals the Galaxy K zoom with 20-megapixel rear camera and 10x optical zoom

Samsung has revealed it's much anticipated camera smartphone and the successor to the Galaxy S4 zoom,the Galaxy K zoom at 'Kapture the Moment' event at Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore.The company has not announced the pricing and availability of the device.
The Samsung Galaxy K zoom features a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.It is powered by Samsung Exynos 5 hexa-core (1.3 GHz quad-core + 1.7 GHz dual-core) processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM.The device runs on Android 4.4 Kit-Kat out-of-the-box and borrows some features like Ultra Power Saving Mode and Kids mode.It also comes with 8 GB of internal storage expandable upto 64 GB via micro SD card and packs in 2,430 mAh of battery which provides upto 14 hours of talk-time and 47 hours of audio playback time.The smartphone will be available in 3G and LTE versions and Charcoal Black and Shimmery White colors.It also boasts of a 'classic neo design' with a perforated pattern.
The smartphone also comes with some camera usability features and functions which include AF/AE Separation (Auto Focus/Auto Exposure Separation) for the precise balance of light and clarity,Pro suggest mode which offers 5 optimized filter options,Selfie Alarm that allows users to take timed selfies with ease and object tracking for a clear and focused shot of moving subject.

The highlight of the K zoom is it's 20-megapixel rear camera with BSI CMOS sensor which is accompanied with Xenon flash for more natural images and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) for a more steady image.The rear camera also comes with 10x optical zoom which is rarely found in smartphones these days and is capable of recording 1080p Full-HD videos at 60fps.The device also comes with a 2-megapixel front facing camera with CMOS sensor.
